Manga-esque Artist Wanted
Hello everybody,

I'm looking for a manga-influenced artist who would be interested in drawing a graphic novel (or series of graphic novels) with me as the writer.

Personally, I love a variety of indy-comics and alternative styles, but for this project a more obviously manga-influenced style is probably better. Basically, send me what you got, and I'll let you know what I think!

In terms of the subject matter, it's not too different from the work that I've tried to do in my own comics like THE STIFF, HYPERBOREA and YEPERENYE (http://www.sonic.net/~jason/) -- weird fantasy, angsty horror, monsters, exotic and detailed settings (good backgrounds are always a plus), and nerdy teenagers.

This is for a publisher, not a webcomic or unfunded self-publishing venture, so don't worry -- if I like your work, I won't be asking you to draw dozens of pages for the prospect of uncertain money. If it works out, I'll ask you to do some character sketches, and then probably some sample comic pages, for which I would be able to pay you a small amount of money. If the project is approved based on the samples, then we'll have to negotiate the pay with the publisher.
